Hawk, You analysis dovetails nicely with my quasi-marxist thesis that jews and palestinian arabs were deliberately pitted together by so called religous and secular arab leaders along with western oil interests. Focus the arab masses on israel/palestine and forget about arab oil wealth going to the very few or no reforms in govt etc. Like the plantation owners in the South giving poor whites status vis a vis slaves. Jews and Arabs working together in palestine over time would have produced a big winner. It is a shame that we got only half the loaf with israel and that israel is under seige from the same disgusting mullahs and the same disgusting secular arab national leaders. That's where bush/abbas/dahlen can change the face of things. mike
