RtS, thanks for the thanks. Is anyone really interested in seeing my price vs SEMI bookings charts for AMAT, KLIC, KLAC and COHU? I've been thinking of discontinuing them, but it would take little to persuade me otherwise. It doesn't take long to do those charts.

Good charts from Barrons showing "Ample Liquidity" as well was why some feel the S&P500 is relatively cheap using the Fed Model (which I monitor and I get the same numbers the chart shows.)

Based on projected 2003 earnings, the P/E ratio of tech to non-tech stocks is at the high end of the range for the past five years, except for bubble period in late 1999 and 2000. Prior to the late-1990s tech boom, the tech sector never traded at more than a 50% premium to the rest of the market.
