you have just discovered how to KILL a tech company Discovered that a long, long, time ago :-) In this particular case, though, there are real costs that I can understand Sun not wanting to invest until/unless they absolutely must. Linux may be "free" but it still costs Sun to get their particular distribution into a supportable condition. BTW: Sun has a history of going against what people want. Remember NEWS (Network Extensible Window System). It was arguably better than X, but people wanted X. // marc
