Two of the leading members (Shay and Markey) of the House Finance committee were on Kudlow and Cramer last night, and said something extremely important about the "implied govt. guarantee" of the two GSE's. They plan on introducing a Congressional resolution, specifically alerting the market otherwise: stating that there WAS NO implied guarantee. That might wake up some of the clerks who keeping buying this agency crap over at the Bank of Japan?
