linux is a suncom killer. I don't see that. I (and the people I know) buy sun equipment because PC equipment sucks big time. Linux vs Solaris doesn't enter the picture. But then I suspect I might be in the minority. this is a business not a philosophy of life. How come every time I hear "but it's a good business decision" it's used to justify short term thinking that often turns out bad for the business in the long term? Giving people what they want is often an easy short term business decision. It may also be a bad long term decision. I would have guessed that Linux wasn't a good long term strategy based upon Sun's experience with the Roadrunner. But what do I know... I just own a little of their equipment and a little of their stock. // marc
