thanks -- soooo many think the seasonal pattern is a lock --usually when something becomes so sure every year for a long string -- it fails. That's where my money is -- we shall see.

Howard Sinclair-Jones,
There you go Howard, you blew it for me, I haven't seen the summer pm bull rally syndrome mentioned on a thread for a long time, ggg. I've been using those summer bull rally periods as important landmarks, balanced against views of adept traders such as vt, and finally balanced against my own charts, to judge this rally.

I've been heavy PM's for a few months, but was heavier before that, sold some in Feb. Budding summer rally in pm's (and bear mkt rally in other sectors) had me sell what was left of energy and pile into pm's (mostly GG, which I think is under rated) even more last week. A few laggards yesterday for spice (nothing I could recommend) leaves me about 90% pm stock invested currently.

My daughter is back from Kuwait, so in regards to posting I'll be busy with other things for a few days, as I have been for the last few months, but I'll be back a lot sooner this time (AAHOOOOGAH!). I am also hoping the other Marine in the family will be back shortly.

Best Regards,
Roebear

Here is an historical seasonal chart of gold. It seems to be in sync so far.
