But Micron Technology Inc. MU.N , the world's second- biggest maker of computer-memory chips, gained after it reported a fiscal third-quarter loss that widened from the prior as revenue fell, but was still better than expected. Its shares rose to $13.24 on the Island electronic brokerage system from $13.08 at the close. The shares of contract manufacturer Jabil Circuit Inc. JBL.N also rose after it posted a lower quarterly net profit compared with a year ago, but its earnings before items came in higher than expected. I still have a hard time believing that stuff when I read it. Got poots on bbby, almost dumped them today. It'll probably be up tomorrow.
