Unbelievable. My life began at conception. I don't remember the beginning but I was alive. Just as I am now. If I was aborted I'd be just as dead as I would be if I was shot right now. It would just be at a different time. Alive....then dead.

Other than you proffered an idiotic comparison, who cares. Those idiotic questions you pose just make you look stupid. Law dictates that that child has the right to be taken care of by the mother or other legal guardian. Neglecting the rights of that child to proper care is crime. After conception for some time only a mother can provide life sustaining care. That's the uterus. At some point in time others could provide that care. That's after birth. Law dictates that a child has the right to expect it's parents to care for it and sustain it. If they are unable the state has put in place processes to ensure that the rights of a child to proper care exist. It can be murdered in the womb or after birth. And that has nothing to do with some thing A having the right to enter into to some thing B at any time. In many cases Syd's thinking is in left lunch. In this case his logic is pure and simple and solid. Your logic is idiotic. I do often wonder why some see logic sometimes and embrace stupidity in other cases. You embrace stupidity in this case.
