The UN kept sanctions on Iraq for over 10 years because Saddam refused to stop his WMD programs. Is there anywhere in your mind the possibility that Saddam was a real dangerous bastard, who's thirst for power included the continuing manufacture of WMD? Do you think that Saddam all of a sudden converted to Christianity and sought forgiveness for using WMD on thousands of people?
