you did better than me and that is very good given the recent uptick in rates, but it helps to owe more -- I got 4.75. If I had owed more 150K+, I think I could have gotten a lower rate ...

That does not tell me a whole lot. The rate is very dependant on the type of loan. Is it a 15 year or 30 year loan? A 30 amortized loan with 5, 7, or 10 year fixed rate and an adjustable rate or ballon payment after?
