RP,
Would you happen to be an engineer?<g> Btw, "What I or anyone else thinks is going to happen is in the realm of predictions. We won't know whether any of them "nailed" it until we se how it turns out. " In this post of yours did you spell "see" correctly? Now is that really important or not? Everyone with half a mind knows that something is not fact until it happens. This whole ridiculous conversation reminds me of a quote by JFK that goes something like this:
"The law of life is change, those who try to stay in the past or the present will fail to see the future."

RP,
Btw,"I think the market is rallying on the fact that a lot of bad things that could have happened in the war didn't happen, and on hope that the economy will get better soon"
Sorry, the first part of your statement is ridiculous. The market doesn't rally on past events. The second part makes sense.
