Re: Copyright 2003....

LOL! This is ridiculous and, indeed, it makes me chuckling... Actually, the disseminating/copying of web-articles by "non-profit" surfers like me is a BONUS for the webcasters like CNN.com, IHT, arabnews.com, etc. It really amounts to FREE advertising & feedback because it displays their contents to a wider e-audience (the SI forums, for instance).
Frankly, I believe there's no harm as long as I mention the author and the link to the original... Ask any news writer, journalist, pundit, whatever... they all love to see their writings being circulated across the internet. For that matter, just ask Pr Victor Davis Hanson from the NRO:

nationalreview.com

Excerpt:

And NRO articles do not die, but are born, with their daily appearance, as they are printed out, e-mailed to friends, linked to by blogs, entering a long metamorphosis through cyberspace and providing news and analysis to millions. I have written histories, memoirs, op-ed pieces, and essays in traditional magazines and newspapers, but sometimes a single NRO piece earns more reader feedback and discussion than those all.

I still do not quite understand this new and evolving on-line medium, but it has changed my life in unexpectedly positive ways as both a daily reader and weekly contributor.
