Suppose we had a container of pure nitrogen and then admitted pure oxygen to make the volume about 20% oxygen....what would happen? Suppose we made the mixture 90% oxygen, what would happen???? Suppose we had 100% oxygen in a platinum vessle and struck a spark, what would happen? Would the oxygen explode???
