It's been a process, Coug. You weren't here as much as I was- maybe it just takes time? I spent so much time here- but it made me who I am- so I'm glad. Of course I met people in 96' who were where I am now, then. Karma for example- remember him? He was always kind to everyone- even the folks he totally agreed with. But maybe with a name like Karma you HAVE to do that :-) I was surprised when I first joined- surprised that people would act that way. Then I thought, "Ok, I can do that too." Then I passed into "EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEW, this is icky, what's wrong with people who want to keep acting this way"- like a reformed smoker :-) And finally I'm just recognizing that no matter how much we all disagree, we're still human- and there is something precious about everyone. Now that doesn't mean you have to LIKE everyone, but what you don't like, you shouldn't concentrate on- and it helps to remember that the spark in humanity in every person, is loveable, even if the person is not likeable. (It helps ME anyway, maybe it wouldn't work for you- maybe something else will work for you) Maybe I'll change more. I sure hope so. It's been a fun journey. Change is life.
