11:49 ET Handset inventories in China may be starting to subside
Raymond James says it has seen industry reports suggesting bloated channel inventories of wireless handsets in China may be starting to subside. Firm specifically mentions a Korean trade paper report that a number of Asian handset manufacturers are starting to increase unit shipments into the Chinese market. While June quarter handset shipments as a whole will likely be disappointing, firm is encouraged by anecdotal signs of improving channel inventories.
