Ramsey, it's been 7 years. Amazing years at that. I would not have believed what has happened if I was given a movie back in February 1996, when I started clicking in SI, of what would transpire. I suppose the forward movie from now will be just as surprising - Jay has it that the best will be saved for last [meaning big financial bangs, thumps and crashes and all the mayhem which goes with it].

I meant, in my previous post, in reply to your question about which to watch [rural or urban China], to belabour the point, that you should watch Shanghai, not the Chinese equivalent of Eketahuna [a rural backwater in New Zealand] and do it through your rose coloured wallet. Which I'm sure you are doing anyway, with instinctive rat cunning.
