Any guesses as to who are the five still investing in fabs?

Good question.

Out of 25 competitors worldwide, Engibous says, only five, including TI, are continuing to invest in fabs to make the new generation of chips.

Maybe we can put our heads together?

I'll start:

Agilent has a fab for some of its wireless stuff. (FUBAR)
Maxim has a SiGe fab
LLTC ???
RFMD ???
Intel has fab and Centrino wireless
Motorolla has a fab...
National has a good sized analog program and they used to have BiCMOS and bipolar for analog chips.
ST - I've used their BiCMOS in years past... do they sell direct?

I think Nokia and Qualcom are fabless

ahh... here is a list of capital spenders

but that won't tell you who has analog fabs.
