I gather you think there is no hypocrisy in arguing that a healthier society cannot be afforded while large tax cuts for the wealthy can be.


Hey, I am all for passing laws to make everybody healthy, wealthy and wise, if they worked, and we could pay for them. But the world tried that last century and got only misery out of it.

We are in the process of getting a flat tax, slice by slice. Now if we can only curb the lawyers and jail the union thugs. Ahhh!

Unsupported assumption, John: government entitlements increase the health of the society, but tax cuts to the rich don't.
