Just out of curiosity, John, what are you basing this remark on? The opinion of your friends and aquaintances?

I gather you think that the general electoral wisdom that one of the things Clinton was blessed with were his enemies, particularly Gingrich, is either wrong or irrelevant now. That in some sense Gingrich has revived his reputation, despite resigning from both the House leadership and the House itself and then divorcing his wife and marrying a House employee with which he had carried on a rather long affair. It doesn't work that way.

If you are arguing that Gingrich's stuff is below the radar line for most folk, I would agree with that. But if you are arguing his reputation has been somehow enhanced, then I can't see it.
