Howy, thanks. I respect your offering, and I hope you are right, but I wasn't so much thinking about bullion prices as mining stocks, especially the explorers and juniors who almost always have a summer doldrums period. If POG trends up strongly enough, I agree there many be no "doldrums" this summer in terms of prices, but if people aren't watching the market because they are on vacation, volumes will still be lacking. Volume always falls in summer.

Sorry, the above charts are the best I can do. These are the major indices for gold mining stocks. And wasn't POG up last year at this time. Stocks still went down by a lot. Check the volumes at the bottoms of the charts.
