Yesterday cousin SRM.V had some apparent profit taking in a sort of sell the good news type reaction

biz.yahoo.com

Luckily NEM barely budged although it has been tracking, in a muted fashion, SRM

finance.yahoo.com

My broker has made a hobby of calling these little companies
I invest in. He has discovered by talking with representatives at INM.V and CBR.V (two favorites of Claude Cormier) that there are strong inter-relations in the management of all three.

northernempireminerals.com

northair.com

committeebay.com

Moreover, I believe that there are significant cross stock holdings. Ie they hold stock in each others companies.

The above is in addition to the links NEM has with SRM SWV and of course BHP Billiton

Then there is the shadowy figure of SAZ and the West Churchill property (not the main Churchill area where the kimberlites are being found)

All in all NEM is positioning itself to be in the big leagues.

I remain very optimistic on the is very risky stock

Not for orphans or widows
Nor for the faint hearted

BTW I hold positions in NEM.V SRM.V CBR.V and INM.V
