Speaking of tax cuts...The Democratic Gov of the State of WA and his Adm signed a 3 BILLION dollar tax CUT yesterday for Boeing, if it does in fact build the new airplane in this state. And yet, the Democrats have been bellyaching for months now about the Republican based tax cut for individuals..... These folks just don't get it. It may be too late for WA State to keep Boeing building planes in the state...They moved the Hdq to Chicago a few years ago.........Taxes are simply too high in this state to be competitive in the aerospace business. Gov Bill Richardson (D-NM) has signed a tax CUT for their state's businesses as well.

House Votes to End Federal Estate Tax as Senate Battle Looms..... over objections from Democrats that the government is being deprived of its lifeblood. Long overdue. My Godparents farm had to be sold to pay estate taxes. 25 wonderful, hard-working folks lost their jobs. The farm was their lifeblood. The government took this family business and spent it. They also took 25 taxpayers off the rolls and placed them on unemployment. Sad, but Demos and government/institutional employees probably believe it was a good thing. uw
