Last night I heard a sound bite, on the news, from one of the officers at the Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs. "If they don't get that, they don't belong on our team." The "that" is in reference to what a cadet must value. A cadet must value certain 'principles' above 'peer loyalty'. Background: There has been an ongoing investigation of a scandal at the Air Force Academy for several months (Cadets charged with raping, molesting, sexually harassing other cadets). The scandal is that the Officers did not effectively do anything about it. So for the past year or so they have been going through a restructuring process.
