Options are not being rolled out this week. That is the observation Alexis Glick made on CNBC. I believe she was referring to puts...which makes sense since this is an extremely unusual expiration week..the P/C instead of going towards 1 early in the week, it tanked instead. I don't recall seeing that happen before to this degree.

She suggested this could create buying pressure into the close (if I understood her correctly).

Does that make sense? It seems to suggest market makers may have to buy a lot of stock given put roll outs are not done.

This is probably going to be a most unusual options expiration. My hunch is that it could be a huge up day or at the very least set up a huge up Monday.

The other factor is the fact that Nikei did not sell off last night..that was a total suprise and maybe an indication of how much stocks are in demand right now.
