I don't have a single European ancestor, as far as I am aware. THAT is rather doubtful. If you go back far enough, everyone is related to everyone else. There has been rather extensive mixing and sharing of genes among our race. And you seem to think that made it alright. You need a course in logical fallacies. No, but I thought maybe he ought to tend to the log in his own eye before worrying about the mote in ours. As to Vietnam: I opposed that war. I thought the US gov't had lost its mind. And I opposed it by 1965. It was apparent by then that the way it was being fought (which had essentially zero chance of changing), it would ultimately result in tens of thousands of dead American soldiers and defeat anyway. Oh, since we're into language prowess (a matter you brought up), let me comment that yours appears a bit deficient. Ich können Sie nicht verstehen. That should have read "Ich kann". You missed it.
