Rest assured we will find out what happened to the 10000 liters of VX, the7000 gallons of antrax and the 6000 chemical warheads and the 500 r-4900 bombs were known to exist but remain unaccounted for.

That's what I figure. And if Syria has possession of this material, as I suspect, I wonder if it's not already information that is already known but not being released publicly in hopes that they can work out a private deal that doesn't force Syria into a corner (which they would have painted themselves into).

As for the mobile labs, we seem to be relying upon a HUMINT source, if I understand the news reports properly. That source could prove to be unreliable. It depends on what confirming infomation we might have... I'm still not convinced the two trailers they have possession of were not used for biological agent, even if originally procured for making hydrogen for artillery balloons (as seems to be what is the latest claim du jour).

All I know is that UNSCOM found those documents in 1998, which were confiscated when their nature was discovered. And they show only 13,000 chemical warheads, not the 19,000 Iraq claimed, were used against Iran.

And I don't believe there are convincing arguments for explaining why the Iraqis would lie to themselves about such a large quantity of warheads and materials.
