If I had a dinner party, and could only one guest....Jimmy Rogers MIGHT make the short-list....the guy is fascinating, and gotta love that ol' Alabama accent (g)..His started his career with Soros back in the day.. BTW- I am married (as you know) so that eliminates a lot of potential dinner candidates (g). No Elizabeth Hurley. Also, I'd love to invite several SI-types, but they'd probably cancel with some lame-o excuse a few hrs. before (via public post) gg Like "I have to smelt something" g My spies tell me that Allanalias DOES look like Peterman on Seinfeld..g What Rogers gets (that few do) is how important cultural is to the equation. China has had an entrepreneurial history for hundreds of years- Russia has not. I think the biggest persistent 21st century threat may turn out to be economic terrorism by China...we better get our house in order (need to fast-track Americas trading block too), and get ready for the new reality..
