LOL - good point. They are trying to label anyone
that doesn't agree with them as anti-American and
traitors etc.
Look at the new Ann Coulter book -
"Treason:
Liberal Treachery from the Cold War to the War on Terrorism"

We unfortunately have a group of rabid right wing people
on the loose here in America right now - who would attempt
to remake the country in their twisted image, and who
condemn anyone that speaks against them.

One problem - they are in the minority. If people stand up to them, they will lose power - again - and go back to their
islands of trash talk radio where they belong.

People confuse visions of America that are very different from their own as being "anti- America". A communist vision for America, isn't "anti- America"- it's simply anti- a democratic America. I suppose people with American citizenship who actually wanted to completely obliterate America from the map would be anti- American- but I personally have never met anyone like that. I've only met Americans who want to change America in some way- and while their ways may sometimes be scary (to me, anyway) they are coming at their visions with a view to what is *best* for everyone. I personally don't want someone else deciding what is *best* for me- so some of the more totalitarian visions frighten me, but I do not think they are really "anti-American". That phrase is almost always synonymous with "You believe in a different kind of America, and so I hate you for that." Not a pretty picture.

No contradiction.

And no. That's more likely to be your position than mine.
