FWIW, Doody does disclose that he is a paid consultant to the company. It is the only company he covers in that situation. Doody has described what you just said and personally, I find the risk far outweighs the reward. Clearly, I'm not putting all my eggs in one basket, but in a diversified portfolio CAU deserves a place.

RE CAU, a friend of mine talked to DeVoto the other day and then talked to the lawyer doing the appellate work on the case. DeVoto is convinced they will win in the courts (if they happen to lose he is convinced the populace will vote to rescind the law).

I have a copy of the appellate brief. It's good reading. If anyone wants a copy, PM me with your email address.
