You are quite wrong, again. Under Bush there was an 8 month recession that was not very severe. Otherwise, there was solid growth, though at lower levels than under Reagan. What happened is that the recovery was a bit sluggish, and chicken littles like Clinton started running around yelling "The sky is falling". Suckers believed them......

By the way, I think that Clinton did various things right. It is just that they were things that Democrats rarely supported, and the Republican Congress helped to enact. For example, I think Clinton was right about NAFTA and GATT.....
