OT Folks who have trading as a part of their cultural heritage are the ones doing business today Er .... no doubt that plays a part, but it's not that simple. Culture, historical events and accidents, climate and geography are some of the factors, arguably. For a wonderful trip into why we are where we are globally .... invest some time in "Guns, Germs and Steel" by Jared Diamond. If anyone is interested, there is at least one other book I can think of worth reading after this one. I have yet to finish both. :)
