Analog Devices Elects AMI Semi CEO to Board
Online staff -- Electronic News, 6/30/2003

Analog Devices Inc. (ADI) today named Christine King, president and CEO of AMI Semiconductor and an IBM veteran, to its board of directors.

"Chris brings tremendous semiconductor industry experience that encompasses not only management positions but also technical positions in her 26 years in the semiconductor industry," said Ray Stata, ADI chairman, in a statement. "With her years of experience with IBM Microelectronics and her current position as CEO of AMI Semiconductor, she has the background to provide insight on many different levels of our business."

King has held her CEO seat at the privately held ASIC designer since September of 2001. Prior to that, she was VP of semiconductor products for IBM Microelectronics. She spent a total of 23 years at IBM.

As part of her director responsibilities, King will serve on ADI's corporate governance and nominating committee. The addition of King brings ADI's total number of directors to eight.
