Hey, The USA certainly could live with Tony Blair as President of Europe. And the UK could put it's head back in the sand again.

Poor Tony Blair. I caught part of a BBC report this morning. It was one of their American-man-in-the-street reports that I think of as "the BBC hunts for bobos" - trying to fathom the unaccountable reasons that those uncivilised rubes in Texas and such uncouth places actually support George Bush's policies. They always manage to sound astonished and supercilious at once. They contrasted America's unaccountable support of Bush with the travails of Tony Blair.
