What in the world do you mean by that? Propane liquifies at a much lower temperatures and pressures than methane (having three carbons in its chain to the single in CH4. I guess all our barbecue grill tanks are bombs? Oh yes--I forgot, it's a government plot on middle class suburbanites to allow propane in everyone's back yard.<G>

my point was propane being heavier than NG in the atmosphere and not having the ability to disperse well but rather collect in pools and flow down hill creates a unique situation should the concentrated gas find an ignition source. That high concentrate is than far greater than the NG is a similar setting where by the explosive effect is equally greater. I believe I read somewhere that the effect is 300 times greater. I realize there are other parameters such as;time/duration of spill,atmospheric temperatures,wind and due point ect. It has been some time since I read that and have not been able to find the info to support such a statement.
