Well said, Hawk, and very well documented.

BTW...isn't it amazing how many people still want to hang on the the belief that the "UN inspectors" were really there to do detective work, rather than their real job of "inspecting" the areas assigned to them, and by Iraq only allowing them to "inspect" certain, and very few areas.

The UN inspectors certainly did not do any 'kicking the tires" of any areas where they didn't have Saddam's permission to go.
