I wonder if this full page ad tactic is going to develop into a trend. IMO, the strategy shows some promise.

There's a lot of upside. It leaves the decision up to the public to determine if the message is important enough for people to dig into their own pockets to see it mass marketed. It gives those with a message something tangible to show for their efforts, rather than the typical debating society. It sends a message to the media that certain issues deserve more coverage. And it sends a message to politicians they are going to be held accountable for their actions. Not to mention it's pretty hard to nail anyone with rubber bullets for running newspaper ads.

On another note, I see the Bush propaganda machine is working overtime this weekend. A new terrorist home movie of unknown providence, "secret" papers that "may" be about WMDs even though there is no reason in the world to believe so, and lots of new terrorist alerts.

With all these bogus terrorist home movies that are always released for political timing, I think someone should release something similar with Bush confessing to his many crimes. For example, I think a 9/11 documentary hosted by a Bush simulacrum would be rather interesting.
