AS,

Re: We were all duped by Bush. I was duped too. That's why I halfway supported the war. But wanted a bigger coalition.

I find it very disappointing how many Americans fail to study the issues and come to the conclusion that truth and honesty ought to trump the greedy self-interest that Bush so epitomizes. Instead of the "shining temple on the hill", America has become a cesspool of self-dealing, special interests, hypocrisy, greed and racially motivated xenophobia.

When we can easily solve our energy problems with technological breakthroughs such as wind power, we instead as lashed to a 100 year old addiction to oil that enforces a vulgar future of incessant foreign wars on this nation, bleeding us through the excessive and outrageous misallocation of the resources of the taxpayer in the insane redistribution scheme that makes the pukes of Halliburton the ultimate beneficiaries of a morally and financially bankrupt swindle.

Make no mistake about, the American middle class are being played for chumps by the Bushistas:

Don't blame yourself for being duped. Some very bright people have been taken in by the propaganda machines that have been spinning full speed since 9/11. 9/11 has been used to whip the American people into a tractable souffle. The people who lied to us, wrapped themselves in the flag while doing it, and stood upon the corpses of our fellow citizens- if you were misled, it was partly because you wanted to do right for America. I too want to do right for America, but whenever people start putting on a patriotism show, I look for a man behind the curtain.

I supported throwing the Taliban out of Afghanistan for their obvious support of the terrorists, but drew the line at Iraq, especially when the UN inspectors were not allowed to finish their job.
