I guess you're right, NightOwl. I shouldn't allow myself to be fooled. Somehow, I thought, when I learned about the Holocaust, that "never again" was meant for everybody. It really means, "Don't kill Jews." "Tit for tat" is what's reasonable to expect. It's reasonable to expect the citizens of Nagasaki and Hiroshima to want to bomb Honolulu. It's reasonable to expect the citizens of Dresden to want to bomb Coventry. It's reasonable to expect the family of the kids that were blown up in the pizza parlor to want to blow up an apartment complex. Hmmm. I guess the Israelis really are morally equivalent to the Palestinians after all. Congratulations, Nadine. I don't expect Israelis to behave any better than Palestinians anymore. You've convinced me, they are no better than Palestinians. I was stubborn and foolish to believe otherwise.
