Hi Mq, be my guest! 500kph transrapids are just a part of the necessary solution, but in any case, as you said yourself, a sensible alternative to planes. Note that Germany is getting connected via >300kph ICEs and that sometime in next 10 20 years these high-speed trains will let me ride not just to Berlin, but for instance to Sevilla and Stockholm as well. I'm not sure about London (;\) but I definitely hope so. regZ dj
