Evenin' Sig, thanks for the feedback.
Like you, I'm not in the mood to chase anything right now, and I actually think we're going to get a mini-correction, "sell on the news," within a day or two after AG cuts rates this week.
Smart Money magazine, for the first time in at least 4 years, has some worthwhile reading in its latest issue. Their question is the same as ours, do we take profits now? My gut feel is the microcaps have had a nice run and will be the first to tank in any pullback, so yes, I would be inclined to lock in gains there.
But among the more-seasoned companies, no, I would stand pat and absorb a 10 percent correction. That's only a guess, of course.
In the real world, I've noticed heavy truck traffic on Interstate 44 and asked my ex-father-in-law this weekend how trucking is doing.
He is a long-haul truck driver, and he said yes, things have been picking up and sales of new over-the-road tractors were up 12 percent last quarter.
While not a boom by any means, it marks the reversal of a 3- or 4-year downtrend. For what it's worth.

Smart Money has an interview with some guy named Michael Dell (who?), and he says there is no post-PC era, that the PC is here to stay and his company continues to take market share.
Plain enough? I thought so.
