Good point Rob. Even though 1xRTT is slow and expensive [compared with how cheap and fast things can be], crowds of people are swarming to buy. That shows even more the level of demand that there'll be for dinkum 3G with all the bells and whistles.

If there is a system level capacity problem, that's a dream come true because more and more and more CDMA cells can be dropped in to make smaller and smaller cells with lower and lower power from each cyberphone. That'll mean mega profits. The only problem to worry about is the Globalstar one where prices are so high that nobody much shows up with some money. If Globalstar fills, there'll be $billions to put up the next constellation and to develop super duper little radioOne cyberphones running on 1xEV-DV.

On the balance between management selling and balance sheet buying, good point. I'm watching and waiting to see what it all means. But I'm fairly sure they have a fairly good idea of what the company is worth. Management sold heaps in the mid $30s and they've bought heaps in the low $30s and contracted to buy more at $28, so there's a narrow band being established, which will increase as revenues, profits and markets increase.

ps: I'm glad you like a good rant.
