I love this (from the Associated Press): "Until recently, Bush and his aides had maintained prohibited weapons would be found. In his radio address Saturday, Bush made no such promise and said instead that documents and suspected weapons sites were looted and burned "in the regime's final days." That damn Saddam is SO crafty!! Instead of using the WMD on our troops as they invaded his country, he says "screw it," and burns all of it up!!! Who woulda thunk???

delbie, only stupid people stuck in rut whine on about re-defining scientific terms and principles when all that occurred was you attempts to not allow you mind to see that rigid interpretations make you unable to understand the connection or how things are the same and different. I redefined nothing. I illustrated the limitations of your understanding of simple common sense. Oxygen is explosive when concentrated. And well within the definition of explosion one could define the tragic events in the Apollo Capsule. A release of mechanical, chemical, or nuclear energy in a sudden and often violent manner with the generation of high temperature and usually with the release of gases. An explosion is not defined in a time scale. It is defined in a sudden or violence scale along with physical characteristics. Sudden is rapidity; quick and swift. Violence is Physical force exerted for the purpose of violating, damaging, or abusing. Add the meanings up and I call it an explosion... LOL delbie you would not know a scientific term or principle if it fell on your head.
