Bring yourself. After all, you and I, we're works in progress. And we're decorative, too.

I feel like a bit of a glutton as far as books and movies are concerned. I've started about 4 more, maybe 5. Ship Fever is wonderful, it's a book of short stories that starts with one about Carolus Linnaeus, and I'm almost done with that one. I am reading Mariama Ba- Scarlet Song, and Nadine Gordimer's July's People- about half way through those. I was walking my kids to the store, and we passed a garage sale where this woman was selling all these wonderful books for 25 cents a piece! And she had two by Coetzee that I had not read (and have not started yet- but one is intriguingly titled "Foe")- and I just finished his book Disgrace and thought it so fine. So I bought all her books. The strangest one is The Rings of Saturn. I'm not very far into that one yet.
