Creditors will rediscover the few ways of preserving purchasing power in a sharply inflationary period.

Some creditors already have already "discovered" one of the few ways of preserving purchasing power....stop lending you're own money, and take a slice of the proceeds for lending someone else's. Is that not the perfect description of the loan securitization and "structured finance" process?

In the end, I predict, Greenspan will go down as the most widely reviled American public figure since Nixon, maybe more so....all Nixon cost us was our dignity and respect in our elected officials, whereas BubbleBoy will cost most of us our retirements and our futures.
