So in others words, president's in your opinion operate in a vacuum? Events like terrorism and business cycles don't have any effect??

Bush is busy fundraising while our troops die. Bush is raising money he doesn't even need from fat cat donors. Meanwhile we have a fiscal crisis in this country, trouble all over the world and I just heard 75% of companies in California plan to lay off workers not hire new people this summer. After all the money Bush raised from Enron, you'd think he might have turned over a new leaf. And also reimbursed the Enron money to ripped off employees and shareholders.
