Lazarus Long is a very long-lived character of Robert Heinlein, who, in his two millenia of life, inseminates pretty much every female who comes within a hundred-meter radius, including an adopted daughter (Dora), his twin daughter-clones (Lapis Lazuli & Lorelei Lee), his own mother (Maureen, brought back through time), and a computer named Minerva who became flesh & blood to learn about sex (don't ask :-) Cranky, snappy, and arrogant, but rather a fun character. I used to read Robert Heinlein quite a bit in my teens. Growing up, shallow characters such as Lazarus Long lost their appeal, of course....
