I'm not so sure that their deflationary woes are due to the fact that savers don't *want* inflation. It could be the mechanics that result just from *being* a nation of savers.

While I agree that it may make the bonds of creditor nations desirable, I disagree that it would make the stocks of debtor nations desirable. Debtor nation currencies should really get into trouble, and I think it just means that one should stick to bonds in creditor nations.
