Go back and read my "Gold up, dollar down" posts. Go back and read YOUR REPLY to my post the gist of which you said, "gold finally makes it through $300? I see no trigger o cause that". Obviously there was a lot more affecting pog than "until monthly balance of payments blows again through $40 B monthly." Perhaps now you see one of the many "triggers or causes" that took gold up and the dollar down. Argue on - I've got better things to do with my time. If you don't like it - too bad.
