Kerry was involved with the civil rights movement in the 60's. Bush was at Yale then too, drinking and ignoring the civil rights movement. Kerry went down to Mississippi and observed segregation. He was sickened by it. He has no apologies to make to blacks. He's the real thing. He stands up for the little guys of all races even though he's personally wealthy. Bush does not. He stands up for the other rich guys.

Kerry then volunteered for Nam and became a Silver Star winner. He served side by side with blacks who were his brothers in arms. No race in warfare.

Bush's daddy got him into a cushy Air Guard gig from which he went AWOL, deserted and never flew a single jet solo. Kerry is an aerobatics expert with no fear.

GW was never imprisoned or drafted into the army though the law makes than mandatory for AWOL deserters. Bush campaigned for a right-winger in Alabama in 1972 who was probably pro segregation, when he should have been finishing his military service.

GW was also drinking and doing drugs. He refused to take the Guard's drug test and was rumored to have been arrested for cocaine in Alabama, a bust which was hushed up by the family. I admit the coke arrest is rumor, but on awolbush.com it seems pretty credible. Read and decide. One thing you will see is testimony that while Bush was Governor he had a team go back to his military base and destroy his records. Shredding a la Enron. And now Enron's top lobbyist is the RNC Chairman.

Understand your party better now?
