I don't disagree. but if we did try that, I bet it would eventually lead some locals to act up again, and so we'd be coming back in down the road a bit anyway. and if one thinks that's gonna happen, then you might as well stick around and a) not let them get any ideas about acting up, and b) start from a good position if they do start screwing around. Of course, if you stick around, then people will be upset and might start acting up, so there's something to be said for bugging out.
